ATEC+ID develops systems and methods for the control and review of quality control systems. To reach cero defects or a typical from six sigma systems rejects level is not an easy task. We analyze your quality control and measuring systems, measured quantities, non measured entities, operating guidelines before results, and other variables and parameters of the processes influencing and determining your rejects and claims, and ultimately, the efficiency and capacity of your process to supply quality.


In this scope we perform process capability studies , in order to determine to what point can your processes be improved, as currently established, making proposals that can help your company to improve substantially now or to focus the needs of expenditure or investments that could be done.

Processes sometimes deviate from the results obtained historically without being able to identify the reasons why, is this your case? We also develop studies of evolution of quality results.

These studies and services are designed and run case to case, since we can handle a mature process with a great amount of variables and a short deviation in the steel industry, but also an innovative product and process with a 30% reject like in the aerospace industry.

The capacity of processes to supply a certain level of quality is not only a matter of will, usually, in most of the existing industrial processes there are certain items, designs, elements, technologies, and so on, that determine the achievable accuracy or for example the campaign size for a certain guaranteed quality. It's crucial to know this framework in order to be able to talk about "guaranteed quality". Never forget, satisfied customers receive guaranteed quality.

As an example, we show a graph that can be used for many purposes, very explanatory and revealing. When used in quality control, it allows to compare, for example, the quality differences in M measures, one by one, between two productions of different batches (orange and blue). We have used this type of graph also to assess the customer's satisfaction (mandatory for all ISO 9001 systems), where each letter is a customer with its satisfaction value, and where each series can be a trade mark, a product, an statistical year, etc. Either for these or other uses, it is very interesting as visual intelligence because it allows to identify points or areas of improvement in a vey intuitve manner.
